First Electric Dec 31, 2011
By Chees of Legend This was my first electric guitar that I got maybe 5 years ago? Funny story about this, one of the pickups broke a couple of weeks in, but it was the neck one that I never used so it was ok. A couple of months ago I had my friend look at it and fix it up, the pickup wasn't broken, the switch just got loose. So easy to fix stuff. He is an amateur guitar fixe/builder and he said it was very easy to fix up, keeping in mind he put the switch back in place, changed the pickguard, and replaced the neck pickup with a Strat's neck pickup. It sounds really cool now. I know that isn't really from the box review, but it is easy to manipulate, cool sounding out of the store, and has this really nice vintage twang to it. I use a cheap multi-effects pedal to make it completely clean. Great for the price though. Overall 4/5.

By M ax It is a nice piece, looks great and sounds it as well. I'm a total amateur so take that with a grain of salt. Be warned though, this item does NOT include strap, cover or cord to connect to amp so be sure to purchase those as well.
