Description

Samson Airline 77 UHF Wireless Guitar systems are an unbeatable combination. Samson Concert 77 UHF True Diversity Half-Rack Receivers matched up with Samson’s incredible Airline Series mini transmitters give you belt pack free mobility at new low prices. Ultra-light, ultra-compact, and incredibly efficient, Airline Series transmitters provide flawless wireless performance for 12 hours on a single AAA battery. The AG1 AirLine Guitar transmitter plugs directly into the jack of the guitar with no cables running to a pack. The AG1 is a 90-degree plug suitable for most popular straight angle jacks. Offers complete wireless freedom with no belt-packs and solid UHF performance. The CR77 true-diversity half-rack UHF receiver works flawlessly with all AirLine UHF transmitters. The CR77 receiver features a front panel display with large multi-segment audio level and RF level LED meters, and a large rotary volume knob allows easy adjustment of audio output. The new synthesized PLL frequency control circuitry keeps the signal locked and true while dual tuned molded antennas with LEDs monitor the true-diversity operation. The rear panel features balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs allowing flexible connection options.

5Freedom  Apr 22, 2010 By Jimmy Be Free "Jimmy Free"
I have used this transmitter on my electric violin for over a year and am so happy I bought it. I thought I would like the freedom of being wireless but now that I'm used to it could never see myself going back to using a cord. It's like thinking about using a corded landline telephone.

The sound quality is very good. I even use it in the studio to produce albums. You can hear samples on my website by listening to "Remember" or "Here and Now" which were both recorded using the wireless unit.

There is likely a slight increase in noise but I am willing to accept that to gain the freedom of movement that allows for clearer artistic expression. I'll never go back.

Peace to you,

Jimmy Free

4Excellent product  Jul 21, 2010 By Jesus Andre Soto
Excellent wireless transmitter, very good sound quality and size/weight. Perfect for live performance, it just misses a Mute button so you need to turn it off or adjust volume in order to cancel the sound.

3Where's the rack?  Feb 06, 2012 By Matthew B. Stachler "Stackimo"
Pros: Great system, good sound, and range. I've had the battery powered base unit model in the past and I love the freedom it provides on stage.
Cons: the newer system I purchased required power hookup so, i'll put it in my rack, right? No rack mounts included(nor anywhere in the directions on how to purchase). Also, If something happens to the "bug" that plugs into your guitar/bass, you have to purchase the whole unit again. Hence, why I bought another unit.

5Very good  Apr 16, 2011 By Kdal
I have already performed a show or two with this product and it never failed me at all, not one moment. I would say that if you're looking for a wireless unit then this is the one you should get.
