Much nicer than expected Apr 08, 2010
By The California Consumer Pleasantly surprised with the quality and workmanship on a $5.00 guitar strap. I was expecting a lot worse. I have several very nice leather straps but they all have the strap-loc system. I needed a simple strap for three guitars that have strap buttons that cannot be removed or replaced. The Planet Waves simple woven nylon strap works perfectly. The portion that attaches to the strap button is leather and all the adjustment rings are made of smooth, rounded black nylon and quite sturdy, plus they won't scratch your guitar . I'm using this strap on a Turner Renaissance RS-6 and two Yamaha Silent guitars all of which are very light in weight. This strap is probably best suited for acoustic guitars. With solid body electrics, I would think the heavier weight guitars would cause the strap to dig into your shoulder since there is no padding. For my intended use, it's very comfortable, well made, and a real bargain for the price. Couldn't ask for more.

Good quality Jan 21, 2012
By Jaxcap I bought a red one and a green one. They were nice and sturdy. Also, I bought them so I could decorate them by cross-stitching on them, and they are definitely fine for doing that.
The colors were kind of off. The green was so dark that at first, I thought they accidentally sent me the black one. The red one was the same color, though.

Worth the price Dec 07, 2010
By S. Hoover The width is too thin to be comfortable for extended use, works fine for shorter playing times. For $5 it's well worth it, it won't let go of your baby!!

Great for the price Sep 01, 2010
By killerqueen25 I purchased this item so I could finally practice guitar while standing. It's easy to place on and pretty comfortable. The texture feels a bit like a seat belt but for the price it works for me!

Good Value Mar 19, 2010
By Wormwood Scrubs I wasn't expecting much, but it seems reasonably well made for four bucks. Stitching could be better and there could be more of it. There's only one row at each location. Red is nice blood shade, not tacky orange-red. Good fit on strap buttons. Holes in leather are 1/4" diameter, slits are 1/2", and leather is a bit under 3/32" thick. Adjustment range goes from top of guitar on chest to bottom of guitar almost at knees. Leather is not sewn to strap but is connected with plastic loops at both ends.
