Cheaper than Guitar Center Aug 03, 2010

I saw this strap at Guitar Center (Home of the Expandable Profit Margin) and they wanted some ridiculous price for it. I looked it up on my iPad and showed them the Amazon price. They said they could not beat the price, right after saying they would beat any price, even Amazon's. So I ordered it right then and there, standing in Guitar Center, thanked them, and walked out. I had it two days later, with free shipping thanks to Amazon Prime--which I totally recommend if you do a decent amount of shopping with Amazon. It pays for itself in no time.
Great looking strap, great price, and I didn't have to haggle with a girl with a barbell through her lip.

Ok, aside from being a huge Satriani fan, I am very impressed with this strap. It hold well in my fender locks, is very comfortable and smooth on my shoulders (I wear a lot of tanks). I also really dig snakes. The colors and art style remind me of something South American, but I am not an expert on such things. This is now my favorite strap and I am considering getting two more. One for another guitar and one to keep stored away in case they quit making these and I wear mine out years from now.

I just got this today in the mail and I've notice that it does not have the planet waves' logo and the "JS" is painted and not stamp! I know the the difference because I own a couple and I must admit they look cooler with other js logo. This just looks cheap. I'm returning it and I was told by the customer service that these are the new straps they got in July...

The designs is what you see in the picture, but as others have said, it's a tad bit more colorful in real life. It's soft but also sturdy. I feel comfortable allowing my guitar to hang by it. The leather ends seem very sturdy as well (thick). The only negative would be the price, but the product itself is great.
