5Fantastic board for a great price  Nov 27, 2010 By Travis
Picked this pedal board up a few months ago to go along with my trimmed down pedal setup. The board itself is exactly what you'd expect - a solid frame, raised platform for easy pedal switching, space underneath to run cabling, and velcro included to adhere pedals to the board. The space is compact - I ended up picking up new pedals specifically for this board. My setup allows an MXR Distortion, MXR Classic Overdrive, Visual Sound H2O, and EH Holy Grail Nano as well as a tuner running sideways along the top. Beside the board is my Crybaby, which fits into the gig bag pocket for transporting.

The gig bag is my only disappointment, and it's not a major one. The bag itself is well made, durable, padded, everything I'd want in a bag holding my gear. The only part that makes me shake my head and wonder is the shoulder strap arrangement - it's connected to the back of the bag at the midpoint. This means that when I have the above mentioned Crybaby in the front pocket, the bag is continually trying to flip over which is irritating when my hands are full of guitar and amp. Not a deal breaker, just not well engineered.

However, I wouldn't let this little design error ruin your day or keep you from picking up the board and bag. Everything else delivers as needed.

4Great Compact Pedal Board  Sep 07, 2011 By HanjiSolo
i bought this guy to neatly organize 4 pedals. it holds snugly and with no room left the following:

Tech 21 Double Drive 3x
Tech 21 Boost Chorus
MXR Carbon Copy
Black Cat Mini Tremolo

perfect for me. great included velco. nice room underneath for cable routing. it's sturdy and easy to store in the soft case...but the case...THE CASE! somebody at pedal train needs to lose their job for the ridiculous location of the d rings where the strap mounts. it hangs goofy on the shoulder to the point that you can only wear it like a messenger bag across the body or by nicely padded handles. 4 stars due to case design flaw!

4Awesome Starter Pedalboard  Mar 29, 2011 By Jonathan Sullivan "Sully"
If you're just starting out and this is your first pedalboard (or if you're a pro who's got some self control when it comes to buying pedals) then this is a great pedalboard. There's plenty of space underneath for routing, construction is sturdy, it comes with all the velcro you'll need, and the adhesive seems to be high quality.

I was able to comfortably fit six pedals on mine in the following order: Zvex Fuzz Factory > PolyTune > MI Audio Crunch Box > DigiTech DigiTech Bad Monkey Overdrive > Danelectro Transparent Overdrive V2 > ISP Decimator

As another reviewer said, the bag is absolute crap, and that's why I've given it a point off. The strap attaches to the back of the bag on both ends, so when you pick up the bag the entire thing sort of falls sideways rather than staying upright. It's just about unusable.

5Perfect little board  Feb 07, 2012 By StevenEddy "Audio Pro"
What a nice product. Rugged and well made. The supplied velcro makes it easy to change pedals for various gigs.

I was able to build a pedal board with a tuner, delay, distortion and a two button amp channel switcher with room to spare. It looks very neat and tidy. Using George L's makes it look even better.

I will buy one of these again. These things rock!

4almost perfect!  Aug 15, 2011 By scottfeldstein
I'm so glad I bought this instead of some of the cheaper, plastic pedalboards out there. The board itself is made out of welded metal and it's very sturdy. The velcro seems to be of decent quality, too. Even the bag is nice.

The single downside of this package is the shoulder strap on the bag. As other reviewers have pointed out, the fact that it clips onto the bag in weird places basically makes it worthless. My advice is to a) definitely buy the pedal train mini and b) toss the shoulder strap in a drawer somewhere and never look at it again.

I'm using this unit for my bass gear: a SansAmp programmable bass driver DI, a compressor, a tuner..and possibly an envelope filter at some point.
