Awesome pedal board May 14, 2011

As stated in previous reviews, I didn't buy a commercial board for a long time. They were either too big or too small. I built a board years ago out of wood which suited my studio and gigging needs for a long time. However, I recently added a couple of new pedals and changed from a 2 wire to 4 wire setup. So my home built board that served me so well for years suddenly became a little too small. That's when I came across the Pedaltrain 2. My setup is: Input => Crybaby => Tuner => Auto-wah => Compression => OD => distortion => amp, and then in the effects loop I have EQ => Flange => Delay => Reverb. It all fits perfectly with a Dunlop Pedal Power mounted underneath. The board is more then very well built and it's totally solid.
As an additional tip, Pedaltrain has a web app that let's you do a virtual layout of your pedals. So you can view all their different boards with your pedals in the order you set them up and see how it all fits. Not sure if Amazon will allow links in reviews so just go to pedalboardplanner.com (or search it on Google). It an awesome tool which allows you to make sure you get the right board that's right for you.

Pedaltrain does a great job in making pedalboards, it comes with everything, you only need small cables for your pedals and a lil' hand-work to drill a few holes so you can fit a voodoolab power pedal plus or a modtone power plant (brackets included), these are made for each other, you will not regret it, I now have a clean board, sturdy, it feels professional and you will have your pedals protected, to all you viewers if you want to know what I can fit in this pedalboard, I have a: Vox Classic Wah, Fulltone OCD, GMD Luther Drive, MI Audio Crunchbox distortion, Catalinbread Semaphore tremolo, MXR Phase 90, EHX Small Clone, Malekko Omicron Vibrato, Malekko 616 Delay and a Korg PItchblack tuner and it doesn't look cramped!

I put off using a pedal board for years because of the apparent lack of imagination by manufacturers. Always too big or too small with nothing in between to choose from. I finally decided to go with the Pedaltrain 2 after watching the YouTube vid for it. The item shipped quickly and in a day or so I was able to put together a board that works for me and isn't over or under sized. Great product!

this is a great board for anyone with a good number of pedals for the price. Comes with Velcro and a nice case to keep them in.

Tried several of pedaltrain in the past (pt-3 too bulky, and pt-jr a little to small), this one holds my pedals perfectly. Simple & light. I love it!
