Good product for the price Apr 18, 2012
By Derek Quinn The NADY UHF-4 GT works very well. I was worried about the battery life based on other reviews but have found the battery life using good quality 9-volt Duracells (Pro alkalines) is over five hours instead of two hours. The first battery was down to around 6 volts before it needed to be replaced. Will try rechargeables next and Lithiums if available. Five to six hours is not stellar, but thats a couple of days of practice or a complete gig or two.
Used the optional XLR to a mixer as well as the standard 1/4" jack to the effects/guitar amp simultaneously with good results.
Sound is "unflavored" coming across identical to a physical cord when set up correctly. No noise or hum until the 9-volt transmitter battery is below 7 volts.
