| | Description | Delivering 2 distinctive Marshall tone sets, the Marshall MG10 is a 10W guitar combo amplifier with a 6.5 inch speaker. With its honest, clean sparkle and aggressive overdrive, the 10 watts of power is amazingly punchy thanks to its closed-back cabinet design and carefully chosen speaker. In order to further allow the guitarist to tune in to their desired sound, the MG10 guitar amp also features a contour control, allowing the user to adjust the EQ in one single and simple turn of a control. The MG10 also features individual headphone output and line input sockets. The Line In allows you to plug in your MP3 or CD player in and play along with your favorite tunes, and the headphone socket will allow any standard 3.5mm headphone set to be plugged in so you can practice in private. | |

Great little amp - high quality Jan 25, 2011
By George Clooney Great little amp for the money. Very solid and well made. Perfect for practice. The gain, volume and tone knobs are solid too. All in all, I think it's better than similarly priced Fender practice amps. Definitely worth the money.

The volume knob goes to "11" Jan 07, 2012
By Bruce K. I did not have high expectations for this little amp which I bought to supplement my big VOX and Orange Krush tube amps. I needed something portable, small and cheap. This is small, portable and inexpensive - but not cheap. It gets a lot louder than I expected a little amp like this could. Loud enough to annoy the wife when she is upstairs and I am downstairs. It's clearly a transistor amp and lacks the tone and warmth of a tube but its killer for the price and size and portability. I think a lot of people knock these MG series transistor amps because Marshall sets the bar so high with JCM type tube heads. But these guys here? They hold there own against Line 6, Peavey and similar. This is a great lil' practice amp that is perfect for playing classic metal and hard rock. Again, much louder than I expected and have seen from other mini-amps. As the Rt. Honourable, The 5th Baron Haden-Guest (aka "Nigel Tufnel" from Spinal Tap) would say, "the knob goes to '11' cuz '10' is not loud enough. Or at least it should!

If you're not a professional guitarist Feb 11, 2011
By oldranger68 Marshall MG10 Guitar Combo Amplifier - 6.5 Inch, 10 Watts, 2 Channels is a really nice little amp. I have an Ibanez hollow body electric which sounds good even without help but this amp picks up those pretty tones and projects very well. As long as you're not a pro group dooing hard rock this should meet all of your needs.

It's OK, it kinda works, most of the time, when it doesn't hum or screech. I expected much higher quality from Marshall.
Small package, big soul Oct 06, 2011
By BluestofHues This little amp was everything I was looking for. Just a little box for my room to practice, so I don't have to lug my stack everywhere. The tones and sound is great, 2 channels, love the distortion. Very good buy overall. Keeps quiet when I need it to, but I'm always surprised how loud this thing can kick! That's Marshall for you, though.
