Absolutely fantastic piece of gear! Aug 04, 2010
By J. Brooks
"epiphanydigital"
If you can only buy one pedal, buy this one. I'm almost afraid to let my musician friends know I have for fear of theft! Gear I play with: Jackson DK2 w/ Cool Rails (n), Vintage Rails (m), and stock humbucker (b); Fender 212r Amp. I've been playing for about twelve years off an on. Alt. Rock, Metal, Jazz, Oldies, whatever...
True bypass really is true bypass, but honestly I can't tell a difference between that and the DSP. Display is big and bright... easy to see the accurate tuner even in dim light.
I've heard some complaints about the distortion, but I think the various tones sound great, especially with a well balanced amp or an equalizer set to your choice to get the mids just right. Delays, Looper, Verbs, etc. are all outstanding. I particularly like running the Heavy Distortion w/ a Digital Delay and an Analog Tri-Chorus. Vetta Juice also sounds fantastic with the '63 Spring verb. Very solid construction and the jacks really click firmly when you put your cables in. My only complaint is they aren't cheap enough to buy for all my friends! Seriously, I cannot rant or rave about this enough... so freaking great!

Versalite & great sounds Jun 16, 2011
By Charles J. Pierce The M9 has alot of useful tones in a small package. The delays are king. Some of the overdrives are surprisingly good. Modulations are good. Filters are probably the weakest link. Reverbs are decent. The looper is awesome.
This is a big improvement over their old DL4 delay modeler. I love it. The tuner is also good. I've removed the tuner from my pedal board.

very happy of it Dec 08, 2010
By mauro i am playing with it since a couple of weeks now, and i am enjoying it really a lot. the sound quality is great, and programming it is very intuitive. it has only one tiny drawback: the pedalboard is small, so the buttons are too close to each other. anyway, i can't imagine anything better for this price! 9/10
Line 6 M9 Stompbox Jan 12, 2012
By cwilson I bought this item as a gift for my husband who has been playing guitar for many years - I had researched many stompboxes with the features that he was looking for in one. The Line 6 M9 is less complicated than the M13 for guys who don't want to read any manual for its use; however, it is going to require some time to understand how they work together for the unique sounds. He loves it now that he's learned more on its operation and has re-joined another band after a 9 year absence. This unit replaces two pedal boards with at least 8 -10 pedals on each board. He loves it!
Line6 M9 May 31, 2011
By Harald Kjersén Line6 M9 is a great stompbox modeler for the electric guitar player beginner to professional and are not as complete as Line6 PODHD500 but has some of the same effects, like smart harmony, and is good for it's price range and size and configuration.
