5100% Recommended  Apr 18, 2008 By Andrew Ellis
I have a Line 6 Spider III 120W 2x10 amp (which I love). For changes between presets during songs, I needed some sort of footswitch. The options are this ($29), a FBV Express ($99), a FBV Shortboard ($269) or a FBV Longboard (I think it's $349 or something). The disadvantages of this one are:
(a) it only switches between 4 presets at a time rather than 36 and
(b) there are only two buttons so getting from preset 1A to 1C requires two clicks.
However, this is not a problem if you set your presets in order of how they appear in a song and make sure that each song has 4 or less presets. I have never played a song in which this was an issue.
The advantages are, of course, low price AND having a compact, reasonable pedal rather than an unwieldy giant that you don't need. In addition, this thing is sturdy and I don't think it will ever break down.
So, if I had to do it again, I definitely would. I like this amp 100% better now that I can change between presets during songs. If I didn't have access to some sort of footswitch that could do this, I'd sell the amp. That's how important this little thing is.

5A must for your Line 6 Spider III  Jun 07, 2008 By Vegas Charlie
This pedal is nothing fancy but essential if you don't enjoy stopping in the middle of the song to switch tone...It's very well built, compact and powers itself via the included (very long) cable. If you have a Spider III 75, this pedal will allow you to switch between channels A-D. The Spider III 75's 4 channels can each hold 9 presets (A1-A9/B1-B9 etc...). This pedal allows you navigate through the presets by going from A1 to B1 to C1 to D1. Manually move A1 to A2 on your amp, and your pedal is ready to navigate between A2 and D2 etc... Also, this pedal is very responsive and has no delay when switching between channels.

5Geat item, best price around!  Dec 01, 2010 By millegide
This Line 6 FBV2 foot switch works great with my Line 6 Spider IV amp, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the best price around at Amazon.com
I won't hesitate to shop more at Amazon for that type of item, along with CDs and DVDs which are my usual items.

5Works Great!  Apr 23, 2012 By flawedgod
This pedal works great with my old Spider 2 150. I needed something simple that worked. I have the older style Spider 2 with the pedal jack that is simply labeled pedal. After a ton of research I decided to go with this one hoping it would work and it did. It also came with a ridiculously long cable, which I love.

Also, I ordered it with the free super saver shipping and got in 3 business days, 4 days time. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
