 For What It Costs It Sounds Fine, But... Jan 04, 2012

OK, I got one of these dirt cheap because the neck was on crooked and it had a couple of dings. The thing is, two humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge is my favorite configuration and I love the feel and sound of Ibanez guitars. I've been playing guitar many years and I own one of the nicer Ibanez electric guitars, but I wanted a "high risk" guitar I could take anywhere without worries. So I decided to fix it and use it. First I took the neck off the Gio, put it on straight, glued it in place, retightened the neck screws, and let it set for a couple of days. Then I polished the frets and set it up properly and now this cheap little guitar sounds and plays great. I really like it. If you're thinking about getting one take an experienced player with you when you shop because the factory quality control isn't all that great and you may need help setting it up. But in the end you can get a good sounding nice playing guitar for a rock bottom price like I did.

I looked at it, a crap china gutar. I never bought it and never would. How Amazon has me don for this junk I never owned and some other items is scary. I did buy a computer from them and they send me sales stuff on computers. I just bought one from them. Never a guitar.
