Solid, Great-Sounding Workhorse Mar 03, 2009

After 25 years of playing professionally, I've played over a dozen wahs, from the usual to the esoteric. I've always loved Ernie Ball volume pedals (and strings, and guitars, and basses), so I thought I'd give this one a try when I was in the market for a new wah.
The construction is typically awesome EB, which means bomb-proof. The sound is fantastic, with a narrower sweep then many pedals. For me, this is a good thing, as the top and bottom are useless on many pedals; the range on this one is very usable and very musical.
The front-mounted jacks are a huge plus for crowded pedalboards, and the on/off LED is a godsend for gigging musicians. For those who are used to using EB volume pedals, the feel is easy to get used to.
Ernie Ball's customer service is awesome, and they will refurbish pedals for a fee.
