Built like a tank Sep 10, 2010
By W. Davis I play keys in a classic rock band and wanted a stereo volume pedal that can handle gigging. I looked at other volume pedals, but most of the others are loaded with plastic parts and didn't seem to be too rugged. Bouncing around in a tub full of cables and sustain pedals can be hard on anything. This unit fills the bill for me. It is smooth, silent, passive, and goes from 0 to full outhiput. The thing is heavy enough not to slip around and the pedal itself has a non-slip surface. It stays at the level where it is left, yet the pedal resistance seems about perfect to me - it moves smoothly with no jerks in volume.
I especially like that this can be used with either dual mono plugs or single TRS stereo.
There are cheaper pedals out there, but by the time you break one of them and buy a replacement, you could have purchased this in the first place. A real winner.
