D-Tuna Perfect Jan 25, 2012
By ChimpRock The D-Tuna arrived early in perfect condition. The price was outstanding and it works as described. Only bad thing is that you have to block the tremolo to make it work. Very happy with this purchase and extremely pleased with the seller.
Great gadget to have Apr 16, 2012
By Edward Klein A simple and easy way to go from E to D and back again on the low E string without having to re-tune. It installs in five minutes or less, several videos are on youtube demoing it and showing how to install and work the thing. You have to have a floyd rose style tremlo for it to be compatible though so double check.
I love double D's! Apr 13, 2012
By Sean I had recently bought a used Washburn N2 with the 600-S tremolo and decided to try not just one, but, two D-Tunas. One for the E string for drop D, and the other on the A string for drop G. I may try a third for the high E string, although modifications will be required. Some sort of shim should do the trick. So far, the double D's are working perfectly and luckily, I have plenty of clearance for pulling back on the trem, so no routing is required.
Very nice, but not perfect Mar 26, 2012
By Luis Colarino Folks,
Great invention, it works, but it is not 100% guaranteed that you're going to be "in tune" all the time. The difference you get is not totally noticeable, but, after using the D-Tuna a few times and checking the strings tunning with a tuner pedal, you will see that there will be some minor differences. Of course that this is not a "bad feature" of this unit, it works and most of the times you will be using it with some distortion and then the sound will be OK, the feeling is great. So basically this is why I'm giving it a four star.
Greatest! Mar 01, 2012
By lnk@ontario.com I don't play guitar. I bought this for my son who plays. He says the D-Tuna is "the GREATEST invention ever"! It's a grat price too.
