A great microphone for home studios! Nov 06, 2010
By Stephen Merchant I use this for all my vocal recording. It provides the warmth I need and just simply sounds great. The price is perfect. I used to record with a SM-86 but this mic blows it away for studio recording. Even the hardware is first rate. I would buy another one again in a heart beat.

Go Ahead & Buy It! Feb 23, 2011
By JR28 I have recorded in several pro recording studios in the STL area and i'll tell you, their $5K plus mics aren't that much better than this one. I built a home studio last year and chose this mic and I'm glad I did. Its has many options and a natural sound. I love it and plan to used it for a long, long time. Great mic, great price!

Good all purpose mic Jul 20, 2011
By Media Specialist I bought this mic to use in two situations - a home studio for close micing acoustic guitar, and as a PA mic in church for group singing. It works well in both ways. I like the slight "forwardness" of the midrange - it sits nicely into almost all mixes in a recording, both on guitar and vocals, and sounds very clear when used as a pa mic. Both listed uses are in omni mode. Also in either cardioid or figure 8 modes it works well too - figure eight mode can be used for getting a bit of ambience/room tone into a recording or between two singers for a close up type sound. It's a great all around mic.
Yess!! Dec 30, 2011
By Rhymezhouse This is going to do the trick. It's a big step up from the condenser mic I had. Thank you love!
